13:00 Lunch at the Indigo Hotel,

 Barkston Gardens, Earl’s Court.


As an optional extra you can attend the St Petersburg Ball in the evening. This is a charitable Ball in aid of the Children’s Burns Trust. Tickets cost £175 each to include the Ball, Banquet and Drinks. Payment can be made as above: The Dress Code is Period Dress, White or Black Tie, Highland Dress or Uniform. Visit to Armenia & Nagorno Karabakh

Between 23rd and 29th September2013, by invitation of Baroness Cox, Founder and CEO of Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust, (HART)

the Grand Prior visited Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh. This is one of the Charities that our Order supports.

  1. Programme for Karabakh:

~ visit the museums for the fallen soldiers to pay respects

~ visit the Rehabilitation Centre

~ meeting with political and cultural leaders

~ visit the church of John the Baptist

~ a walk in the beautiful scenic mountains with the head of the Mountain Rescue Team

  1. Programme for Yerevan:

~ visit some historic sites in Armenia such as Khor Virap

~ including visit The Etchmiadzin Cathedral which is the oldest state-built church in the world and the church of St Gregory where he was incarcerated for 13 years.

~ the Gerhard Monastry – cut out of the rock

~ meetings with religious and political leaders
